Purple was the color reserved for royalty in Biblical times. The dye required to make purple material was scarce so it was reserved for royalty. Purple is used in the church today to symbolize royalty during Advent, a time in the church year when the church prepares for the coming of Jesus the King.
The grapes in the banner refers to John 15:5 which states "I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing." (NIV)

HCI Consultation Report
The report from our HCI Consultation weekend, 9-11 March, is available below.
When reading you are asked to do three things.
1) Read the
report from front to back - don't skip straight to the conclusion and
don't just read the prescriptions. It's important to
understand the entire report.
2) Seek answers or
clarification from church leadership (Pastors, Jim Phillips or Dennis
Hutchinson) for any portion of the report that may not be clearly
understood.
3) Mark your calendar and plan to
participate in at least one town hall meeting and the church
conference. These dates are in the report.
